Cod can be caught using:

Cod feathers (usually white) can be used from a boat over wrecks or other fish holding grounds, its worth using a perk / jig on the bottom for a potentially big cod.

Bottom fishing using lugworm , squid , peeler crab or most baits, using a pulley rig from shore or a running ledger on a boat.
