Firstly fillet your sea bass and leave to soak in oil, add a very small amount of garlic
Place the fillets on a board with the skinned side uppermost, Divide the prawns between each fillet
Begin by making the tartare sauce. Break the egg into the bowl of the processor, add the salt, garlic and mustard powder
Clean and gut your mackerel, Ideally you want a big one as the nicest way to eat them is to stuff the belly with sausagemeat and herbs depending on taste.

Fished from 15:00 - 22:00 had a baby flounder which is quite odd for this venue. Twelve whiting four of which were keepers and are going to get made into whiting fishcakes and two pouting. Good nite lots of action no big bass i was hoping for but kept me entertained, Fished one rod over the side with pouting for live bait and one 10yds off with ragworm rods didnt stop bouncing.
Fished from 20:00 - 01:00 had 2 billy bass, 6 whiting the biggest was just under 1lb and 4 pouting. Overall good nite rods didnt stop bouncing, Fished one rod 30yds out with lug and squid and fished the other roughly 60yds out with large mackerel or squid baits.
Hit and miss session, Fished two hours either side of high water was way too much weed on the ground which made fishing a real pain in the a**. Managed to catch two small bass and a 1lb wrasse so wasnt a complete failure. Not a gust of wind but plently of rain.
Fished from 19:00 - 04:00 had 16 bass up to 6lb probably the best fishing session I have ever had!! Fished using mackerel strips ledgered on bottom. I reckon it was a case of right time, right place. Went back the following night and failed to catch a thing!!
